About Me

Meet Riley Hachten

I am a University of Louisville Alumna with dual certification in elementary education (K-5) and learning and behavior disorders (P-12). Along with advanced degrees in both general and special education, I earned certification from the Orton Gillingham Academy at the Associate Level. I have a passion for working with students who learn differently, allowing them to recognize their strengths and develop in their areas of growth. 

My husband, Ben, and I have been married since March 2020 and have two sons, Auggie and Leo. Our dear Auggie entered eternal rest and now intercedes for us as a saint in heaven and his little brother Leo who was born February 6, 2023. We are active in our parish and love learning more about our faith daily through our extensive home library! In our free time we love to go on walks with our labradoodle, Baker, and spend quality time with family and friends. 

Little Flower Tutoring LLC was named after my devotion to Saint Therese of Lisieux, being my confirmation saint. While discerning my call to start this small business, I distinctly heard "Little Flower Tutoring" while at Mass. I pray that I can follow the example of this great saint within my business - doing little things with great love.
